These earrings are so beautifully sparkly! The texture reminds me of druzy stones, but this is a much thriftier way to get that trendy look. I think I've finally found the perfect use for the clay in my stash!

I have never worked with clay to make jewelry but these earrings are so cute. I love how the glitter was added to the clay so that you can control how much sparkle you want. I never would have realized how simple it looks to use the clay and I am going to give it a try. This tutorial is great for the beginner like me. Making these yourself you can choose the color you would like. Hopefully just the beginning to using clay for jewelry. Anyone try it yet?

I have been working with clay for a long time mow. It's amazing in what you can do with it. You don't need to spend a lot of money either. I would recommend that you use the clay that you bake. I use many Premo or Sculpey, mainly because it seems easier to knead. But as far as colors, you can use eye shadow to add tints. Nail polish too. It's just a fun thing, limited only by your imagination.
