Japanese Flower Earrings
These Japanese Flower Earrings look like the popular Japanese Cherry Blossom. Follow these chain maille instructions and watch as a few jump rings turn into these beautiful flowers. Make the earrings as shown and then try making a bracelet or necklace too. This Japanese 6 in 1 chainmaille pattern has its roots in Japanese armor from the middle ages. These weaves look best with small rings for the vertical connector rings and large rings for the horizontal rings.

This is very pretty. Who would have thought a bunch of jump rings hooked together could turn into such a delicate, interesting and very pretty piece of jewelry. I use to just pass by these but then I saw one in person so now I want to make my own. Thank you for inspiring me.

I like the delicate inner rings. I've usually seen this design using rings of a similar gauge wire. so this is really cool. Also ChainWeavers.com is carrying new rings that are textured that they are calling Dragon's Dust. Which would take this simple design to another level. Need I say "gorgeous!"
