Faux Doily DIY Jewelry Holder

This innovative Faux Doily DIY Jewelry Holder may look like an expensive porcelain bowl, but it's actually a DIY jewelry dish made with polymer clay. You get the beautiful pattern by imprinting a lace or paper doily onto the clay and then baking it. Left as classic white, it looks great, but it can also be painted any color you desire. It would be a fun project to experiment with, that's for sure. These clay dishes would make fantastic gifts for any of your jewelry-loving friends, too.

This is a pretty creation. It's delicate looking and very feminine but it's very sturdy. I love working with polymer clay. It's a very for giving medium. If you make a mistake just roll it back into a ball and roll it out again. You can paint it, add mica powder, do almost anything with it.
