Materials:

Create your Style with Swarovski Elements™:

  • Flat Briolette in Golden Shadow, 15mm #56-00130
  • 6mm Bicone, Light Azure #56-05298(1 pkg)
  • 6mm Bicone, Pacific Opal #56-05600(1 pkg)
  • 6mm Bicone, Golden Shadow #56-05222(1 pkg)

Other Supplies:

  • head pins, 2- or 3-inch, gold (24 pcs)
  • jump rings, 6mm, gold (4 pcs)
  • ear wires, gold (one pair)
  • wire, 24 gauge, gold
  • round-nose pliers
  • chain-nose pliers
  • flush cutters

Instructions:

  1. Make your dangles. Feed a crystal onto a head pin. Bend head pin near crystal to a 90-degree angle. Cut to 1/4-inch and create loop using the round-nose pliers. Option: To wire wrap your crystal, feed a crystal onto a head pin and create a loop slightly above the crystal with the round-nose pliers. Re-position the pliers and use the chain-nose pliers to wrap the wire a few times under the loop.

  2. Make a total of 24 dangles (eight of each bicone color). Set aside until step 4.

  3. Wrap each briolette. Cut a 12-inch piece of wire and feed through the briolette. With 2 inches on one end, bend the wire up on both sides and wrap the short end around a few times at the top of the briolette. Trim this side. Make a small loop with the round-nose pliers with the other wire end then wrap this wire several times around the base of the loop, covering part of the briolette top. Trim.

  4. Open a jump ring and add three dangles, one of each color. Then add the briolette and three more dangles, one of each color. Close jump ring. Open another jump ring and add three dangles, one of each color. Next add this jump ring to the first jump ring in the center of the six dangles then add three more dangles, one of each color. Close jump ring.

  5. Open the ear wire and attach to the top jump ring (in center of six dangles) to finish.

  6. Repeat steps 4-5 to complete the other earring.

Very pretty and as you can see very easy to make. It's just making the bicones into dangles and putting them all together. I am thinking of different color combos. How about red, white and blue bicones and a crystal drop? That would be a summer patriotic pair. Red and green for Christmas?

I can already think of like 10 places to wear this! Totally making these when I get home they are so gorgeous!

very nice
