Faux Enamel Earrings Tutorial Uses Nail Polish and Resin

"Making enamel jewelry requires either torches or kilns to make the fused glass. The plique-a-jour technique which resembles stained glass is even harder. This easy faux enamel earrings tutorial is a cold technique - no heat is required. The color comes from nail polish - fun to use as there are so many colors out there. The nail polish is suspended between twisted wire spaces. The flowers thus created are encased in resin filled hoops. The resin not only gives a glass effect but also protects the delicate flowers."

What beautiful Faux Enamel Earrings and they are so impressive the way they are made. There is a video to show how to make the flowers and a tutorial on how to finish them. I think I found a great new project. It is really not that hard and you can make some stunning earrings for yourself and others. Nail polish and wire who would have known.

I love this. It's so pretty. It looks like stained glass. I use to do that craft. This is just as pretty and a lot easier to do, that's for sure. The directions are explained at length and in great detail. It's very well done. Thank you for posting it.
