I just wanted to add a little tip. I see there are some people like me, who are sensitive or allergic to some base metals, such as brass, copper and anything with nickel in them. You don't have to spend big bucks getting sterling silver, which is not only expensive but can tarnish over time. Try using stainless steel ones. They sell them in all craft stores, they won't tarnish and they look like silver. They use STainless in operating procedures for this reason!

I almost passed these by, thinking they were metal and I wasn't into that. I don't have the tools for one thing. But then I read the directions and could not believe how basic and easy they were. Just scissors, hammer and hole punch and I can make so many pretty sets!

These earrings look so good and, having just read the instructions, they are so incredibly super easy to make! No special equipment needed and the only materials are the copper sheet, 2 jump rings and 2 earring hooks. The skin on my earlobes becomes inflamed to copper, brass or very cheap metal hooks so I make my own using sterling silver wire. If you have a similar problem try making them - it is very easy, all you need is the wire and a pair of round nose pliers.
