Five Golden Rings Earrings

Who wants four calling birds or three French hens for Christmas? Give a gift that will be truly appreciated this holiday by making these gorgeous Five Golden Rings Earrings. Homemade Christmas gifts are so much more meaningful than store-bought presents (and more practical than fowl), so you know these earrings will be cherished by whomever the lucky recipient may be. Or if you've been extra good this year, treat yourself to these elegant DIY earrings and wear them to all the holiday parties you attend; they're a clever and subtle way to show your Christmas spirit without going all red and green. These golden earrings are perfect for Christmas but are definitely neutral enough to be rocked year-round.

  3. Repeat step 2 twice for a total of three sets of wire circles on a jump ring.

  4. Use one 2-inch wire to string one crimp tube and two of the jump rings from steps 2 and 3. Pass through the crimp tube again, forming a 10mm circle of wire, and crimp.

  5. Use one 2-inch wire to string one crimp tube, the second jump ring used in step 4, and the remaining jump ring from steps 2 and 3. Pass through the crimp tube again, forming a 10mm circle of wire, and crimp.

  6. Use one 2-inch wire to string one crimp tube and the previous jump ring. Pass back through the tube again, forming a 10mm circle of wire, and crimp.

  7. Attach one ear wire to the jump ring used in step 2.

  8. Repeat steps 1 to 7 for the second earring.

  9. Adjust the wire circles so that the 10mm wire circles are between the 8mm wire circles.
