Love the look of this! If you don't like the store bought ready made lace necklace base, you could use lace fabric or remnant and cut it to the desired shape and size, then fray-check the edges, before adding the rhinestone edge trim! She doesn't mention how the bits and pieces are attached, so I am assuming they are glued. You could also use vintage buttons and sew them on and get a similar effect if you use sparkley ones! For a more subtle effect, try tone on tone, for example, a bone or ecru lace with same color family for the buttons or stones. Pretty!
