Wood And Clay Flowered Earrings

"Paint and stain are just two of the ways you can cover die cut wood pieces to create jewelry. But why not leave the wood au natural? This is what I chose to do with my floral design. Little clay is required for this project which surprisingly results in a very contemporary set of earrings. The blank wood pieces can be used as templates to shape black clay to layer on the earring backs. The warmth of the wood is complimented by the gold mica powder highlights on raised areas. "
