Ink and Clay Spoon Earrings

"Alcohol ink and clay combine in this project resulting in gorgeous and colorful designs. No artistic ability is required. Just drip the ink colors onto a ceramic tile then drop the clay on top of it. Flip the clay over for color on both sides of the finished earring. You won't believe how easy it is! A spritz of rubbing alcohol lightens the colors and causes them to blend. When the ink is dry, use teardrop shaped cutters to define them. Bake the clay on spoons in your oven for an interesting, slightly cupped shape."

I love working with polymer clay. It's such a forgiving medium. You make a mistake, don't panic, just reroll it. It's not set until you bake it. That's why I like it better than air dry clay. I can let it set for a day or two and come back to it!
